Our own trade jobs platform recorded 3,994 Google search clicks in October 2026. A case study of the website, search journeys and evidence.

UK Trade Jobs is Blue Canvas's own product, built for people looking for skilled trade work, considering an apprenticeship or hiring a tradesperson. Blue Canvas AI Ltd operates the platform.
A trade job search involves more than a vacancy title. People need to understand the work, qualifications, location and likely pay, then decide what to do next. The site brings that information together with job search and practical tools.
This case study covers the website and its search journeys. It is an example of our own product work, rather than a client testimonial.
An experienced electrician looking for local work needs a different starting point from a school leaver comparing apprenticeships. The platform provides routes through trade and location searches, career guidance and CV preparation.
The aim is to make the next step useful: finding a relevant vacancy, understanding a training route or preparing a CV that sets out real skills and experience.
The site combines trade vacancies with apprenticeship information, pay guidance and a free trade CV builder. These serve different stages of the same journey: explore the work, understand the requirements and prepare to apply.
Job search is organised around trade and location. The apprenticeship hub includes official vacancies in England and signposts the separate services for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Pay guidance explains that estimates depend on the role, area, experience and employment arrangement.
A vacancy page helps someone assess an opportunity. A guide helps them understand a career or qualification. A tool helps them prepare or compare their options. Connecting these pages gives a visitor a route forward instead of leaving them at the end of an article.
That is also the approach we bring to SEO projects: understand the audience's questions, decide which pages should answer them and make the route between information and action clear.
The CV builder helps candidates describe trade experience, qualifications and site cards. People can start without an account, then print or save their CV. Employers have a separate route to advertise a vacancy and explain its requirements.

Google Search Console recorded 3,994 Web search clicks and 458,770 impressions for UK Trade Jobs from 1 to 31 October 2026. The figures cover all countries and devices, without a page or query filter.
This is a complete calendar month. The totals were checked against the daily Search Console table. Search clicks are not a count of unique people, applications or hires.
UK Trade Jobs is a live product, with trade job search, apprenticeship guidance, pay tools and a CV builder. The published site lets you inspect how those parts connect.
A visit, an apply click and a completed application measure different things. A useful search report keeps those distinctions visible and states the period and source behind any performance figure.
The transferable lesson is to connect a useful answer with a useful next step. For a service business, that may mean a clear service page, supporting guidance and a straightforward enquiry route.
